It would have been Douglas Adams’ 61st birthday today, and though he is no longer able to experience a happy - or any other sort of - birthday due to being dead, we can experience a happy day on his behalf by watching, listening to, or reading any of the multiple iterations of his Hitchhiker’s and Dirk Gently books.

(Douglas Adams is my favourite writer).
